Pakistan’s Ambassador Highlights Mediation Role…
Pakistan’s ambassador to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, said Islamabad will emphasize its mediatory role during the 81st UN General Assembly.
He noted that PM Shehbaz Sharif will address the assembly on 25th, presenting Pakistan’s perspective on the evolving regional and international security environment and stressing dialogue, diplomacy, restraint, and peaceful resolution.
The ambassador said Pakistan will use the high‑level week to underline its constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability, working with UN member states to uphold the UN Charter, strengthen multilateralism, prevent conflict and advance international cooperation.
