Five Family Members Found Dead in Karachi

Five family members were found dead in a Karachi apartment.

The bodies of a 45 year old doctor, his 35 year old wife and their three daughters, including a 13 year old girl, were recovered from the seventh floor of a high rise building in Ahsanabad, Scheme 33 off Superhighway. Neighbours reported a foul smell and notified police, who found the door locked from the inside and the bodies partially decomposed.

Police have taken the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post mortem examination. No visible injuries were found, and the cause of death is pending chemical and DNA analysis. Investigators are collecting evidence, reviewing CCTV footage, and interviewing neighbours and the doctor’s workplace.
