CDF Munir: Forces Resolve to Defeat Terrorism

Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir said the armed forces remain resolute in defeating terrorism and ensuring lasting peace and stability.

He made the statement during a visit to the Peshawar Corps Headquarters, where he was briefed on the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ongoing counter‑terrorism operations, border management measures and operational preparedness of formations deployed in the province.

Munir praised the high morale, readiness and professionalism of security personnel, and directed troops to stay vigilant and maintain the highest standards of operational preparedness. He also laid a floral wreath at Yadgar‑e‑Shuhada and offered Fateha, paying tribute to martyrs.
