11 Injured in Murree School Van Fire

At least 11 people were injured when a school van veered off the road and caught fire in Murree, police said.

The incident occurred near Bara Hotar Link Road, according to Rescue 1122.

The Suzuki Bolan veered off the road and caught fire, prompting rescue teams to rush to the site.

Passengers, mostly schoolchildren aged between four and 14, were safely evacuated and sustained only minor injuries. Nine suffered burn injuries of varying degrees, while two escaped unhurt.

Earlier this year, other school van incidents in Karachi and Okara also caused injuries and a fatality.
