Adrian Hamilton-Manns assumed the role of CEO of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Monday.
According to a PIA spokesman, Hamilton-Manns has more than 30 years of experience in the global aviation industry and has previously served as CEO of three airlines.
He succeeded Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Amir Hayat, who served as CEO for four and a half years. The PIA Board Chairman said the airline was grateful for Hayat’s commitment during a highly complex transitional period and added that the airline is confident Hamilton-Manns’s extensive industry expertise will accelerate PIA’s strategic objectives, elevate its service standards, and drive sustainable profitability.
