Israel Files Complaint Over Netanyahu UAE Visit

Israel’s domestic security service, Shin Bet, filed a complaint against Channel 12 for reporting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the UAE.

The complaint, submitted to the Chief Military Censor, alleges a severe censorship violation and calls for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. The statement also said the publication of the visit endangered the lives of the prime minister, his wife, and the delegation, which included the head of Mossad and other top security officials.

The visit was reported by Channel 12 and other outlets on Sunday, but neither Israel nor the UAE has confirmed the trip. Israel and the UAE established diplomatic relations in 2020 as part of the Abraham Accords.
