Pakistan Condemns Houthi Attack on Madina Power

Pakistan strongly condemned the Houthi attack on the Taibah power distribution station in Madina on September 29, calling it a grave provocation and threat to regional peace and security.

The Foreign Office said the attack targeted civilian infrastructure supplying electricity to the Holy Prophet’s Mosque and called for an immediate and unconditional end to such reckless actions.

Pakistan reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting the kingdom’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and security, and pledged continued efforts to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.

The statement comes amid accusations by Yemen’s Saudi‑led coalition that the Houthi militia struck the station with a drone, and Saudi Arabia has responded with airstrikes and support for government forces.
