PTI March to Start from Southern KP Tomorrow
PTI will begin its protest march from the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tomorrow, led by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
The march, scheduled for October 4, will also include a procession from Malakand Division led by PTI provincial president Junaid Akbar Khan. Processions from the southern districts, Peshawar, Malakand and Hazara will converge in Swabi before heading to Islamabad.
Shaukat Yousafzai, the party’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary Information, said preparations were complete and resource shortages would not hinder the event. He added that the success of government‑opposition talks depends on the government’s attitude and that the PTI demands access to Imran Khan, his transfer to a hospital and early hearings of his cases.
Yousafzai described PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan as a mature and conciliatory person who could find a way forward. He also warned that governor’s rule or an emergency would worsen the situation and urged the government to allow a meeting with Imran Khan.
