Coalition Intercepts Houthi Missiles at Riyadh

Saudi coalition air defenses intercepted and destroyed two Houthi drones and two ballistic missiles launched toward Riyadh and Khamis Mushait.

The missiles were part of a fresh wave of attacks by Yemen’s Houthi movement, which the coalition said violated Saudi sovereignty and threatened civilian safety.

Hezam Al-Assad, a Houthi political bureau member, described the operation as a small-scale rehearsal for a full-scale escalation.

Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council, condemned the attacks as a flagrant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty.
