TTAP Forms Committee to Consult Parties
The Tehreek i Tahafuz Ayeen i Pakistan announced on Sunday that it has formed a six‑member committee to consult with opposition parties and agree on the agenda for a proposed multi‑party conference.
The committee includes Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, Barrister Gohar Khan, Asad Qaiser, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Akhwanzada Hussain Ahmed Yousafzai, and Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry.
The committee will liaise with other parties, consult them on the agenda, and work toward an agreement on the way forward, according to the statement.
On September 11, the opposition announced its intention to hold consultations for an all parties conference to discuss issues such as the creation of new provinces, law and order, and the economy.
After a meeting with JUI F, Barrister Gohar said that the current law and order situation, the economy, inflation, lawlessness, and the creation of new provinces issue called for such measures.
