Fuel Relief Scheme: SMS Charges Removed

Pakistan has removed SMS charges from its fuel relief scheme, making it easier for two and three wheeler users to access relief tokens.

The Rs500 per token limit for two and three wheeler users has been abolished, and eligible users can now receive four tokens each month, each worth Rs500.

By Saturday, more than 1.75 million registrations were completed and about 1.5 million tokens generated. The National Steering Committee approved SMS redemption at stations lacking internet, and registration continues nationwide via SMS to 9771.
