US Delegation Meets Pakistan’s CDF on Afghan War

A U.S. Afghanistan War Commission delegation met Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces on Monday, acknowledging Pakistan’s role and sacrifices during the Afghan conflict.

The delegation, led by co‑chairs Shamila N. Chaudhary and Dr Colin F Jackson, visited General Headquarters in Rawalpindi and praised Pakistan’s continued contribution to regional peace and stability, according to the Inter‑Services Public Relations.

During the meeting, the CDF shared Pakistan’s perspective on the security dynamics of the conflict and highlighted the challenges the country faced during the prolonged U.S. engagement, urging the inclusion of a regional viewpoint in the commission’s review.
