71 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan Operation

The Inter‑Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that more than 71 terrorists were killed in Balochistan during the last 96 hours.

The army carried out a swift operation in Ziarat and surrounding areas on September 21, targeting hideouts linked to Indian‑backed Afghan proxies.

In Shaban, 33 Indian‑sponsored terrorists were killed and weapons recovered. Over the following 72 hours, 23 more were neutralised, bringing the total to 71.

Separate intelligence‑based operations on September 25 in Noshki and Mand killed 11 and 6 terrorists respectively, with additional weapons seized.

The counter‑terrorism campaign, part of the Azm‑i‑Istehkam vision approved by the Federal Apex Committee, will continue to eliminate foreign‑sponsored terrorism.

Balochistan has seen a 7% rise in attacks from 83 in July to 89 in August, prompting intensified security operations.
